Enter the Festival Poetry Competition and express your feelings on any subject.
Closing date Saturday 18th September

Adults(over 16)
Children 13-16
Children 10-13
Children 9 and below

All entries will be on display at the Calne Heritage Centre throughout October 2009

Prize-giving on National Poetry Day
Thursday 7th October, 11.45 to 1.00 pm at Marden House.

Entry Rules.

1] Poems can be on any subject and must not be more than 40 lines long.
2] Entrants can submit up to 4 poems.
3] Handwritten entries will be accepted, but please make sure that they are legible.
4] Children may enter and will be judged in the appropriate age categories,
    which are: 9 and under; 10-12; 13-16.
5] Poems must not have won an award in any other competition or have been
    submitted or published elsewhere.
6] Poems cannot be returned, so please keep copies of your entries.
7] Please write your name, address and telephone number or email address on a
   separate sheet of paper and if you are 16 or under, please add your age.
8] Entries may be emailed to sue.boddington@virgin.net or posted to:

Sue at Dacia, 99 Poulshot Road, Poulshot, Devizes, Wilts, SN10 1RX.
Alternatively they can be handed in at Calne Heritage Centre, addressed to Sue Boddington.

You can collect a leaflet with all the details of the competition
from Calne Library, Marden House, Bank House or the Heritage Centre.
