Young Performers' Day

[16] Voices from Primary Schools

Marden House: 12.15pm lunchtime recital
Admission: £3 (Patrons £1)

To start the ‘Young Musicians Day' of the Festival, children from the Primary Schools of Calne and the surrounding district will entertain you as individual Schools and as a Mass Choir. One of the amazing things about singing is that it unites people. Come and listen to the magic of young primary school singers.

[17] Teatime Stories - Pig in the Middle

Devizes Writers’ Group includes both published and amateur writers, who meet monthly to share ‘homework’ written to a set title. ‘Pig in the Middle’ stories have been written specially for the Festival, and will be read by their authors, alongside a variety of other pieces.
