[10] The Lindsay Howard Academy of Dance - Dance Spectacular

The John Bentley School Hall : 4.00pm
Admission £3.00 (patrons £1.00)

LHADDuring the Summer Holidays a group of 17 students aged 7 to 17 will attend a dance workshop organised by LHAD Ltd. Why not come along and see the end result? You will think you have travelled to London when you watch their interpretation of some of the most popular West End Musicals!! Also performing on the day will be students from Calne Classes and some of the LHAD Ltd Team Dancers. If you would like more information on any of our classes please telephone Linda on 01225 790200.
Various styles of dance performed by Calne based students including Cheerleaders, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Street Jazz and much more. A vibrant and enthusiastic performance.

Tea will be served during the interval.


[11] Music from the West End

Marden House: 7.30pm
Admission £8.00 (patrons £6.00)

Strong ManSarah Jefferies accompanied by Paul Turner on the piano will sing some well-known songs from West End musicals. Featured composers will include Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers and Hammerstein and, of course, Andrew Lloyd-Webber. Paul will also play arrangements for solo piano of songs by George Gershwin and Ivor Novello.
