19 - Concert by The John Bentley School

12.15pm Lunchtime - Marden House - Admission £3 (Friends free; £1 children)

Talented GCSE and A Level Music students from Calne’s John Bentley School will perform a wide variety musical theatre, classical and rock music.

20 - Great Western Tears

7.30pm - Marden House - Admission £8 (£6 Friends; £1 children)

The Great Western Tears are a Country band hailing from Oxford including local Calne local singer Fern Thornton who play Rural Roots music with a backbone. Taking their name from the mountains of Northern Tasmania and forged in the fields and forests below, believing that 'Authenticity' is as much about lifestyle as it is musicianship. Matching the muscular swagger of the Blues, the lived- in lyricism of Country and the dark heart of English Folk they finely craft both personal and universal tales you can sink your teeth in to... "a sure footed pedal steel fuelled swagger" Americana UK.

The wine bar at Marden House  is open before evening events and for interval drinks. Coffee and cakes are also available on weekday evenings after the main event, but owing to licensing laws we shall be unable to serve alcoholic drinks on the Monday evening. Light lunches are served following the weekday lunchtime concerts in Marden House. Why not also come and enjoy a late Coda event in a relaxed atmosphere.
