16 - Burn Camp: A Miracle

In The Mountains

Burn Camp: A Miracle in the Mountains tells the story of a summer camp in the Colorado Rockies designed to fulfil the needs of young people with life changing burn injuries. Along the way we meet the campers and staff that work together to create this extraordinary experience. Director Andy Mitchell will be discussing the process of making the film and there will be music from the film by Jimmy Moore.

 

17 - St Mary’s School Concert Artists

St Mary’s Concert Artists present a celebration of all the musical talents of the school, ranging from the Junior Musicians to the Senior performers. St Mary’s Concert Artists have enjoyed a variety of exciting performing opportunities on the international and national stage, performing alongside professional musicians at prestigious venues in London, Paris, New York and of course, St Mary’s. Tonight’s performance will celebrate the delights of English Song and Musical Theatre, as they are in a busy rehearsal period for the school’s Autumn Musical Production – Cole Porter’s Anything Goes on October 21, 22, 23.

 

18 - CODA: St Mary’s School Music Staff

A rare performance of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Quintet for Piano and Winds in B flat given by the instrumental staff of St Mary’s School, Calne. Set firmly in the Russian nationalist style, the quintet draws on the influences of traditional folk melodies and fairy tales.
