03 - Our Town

A John Bentley School production together with members of the community

A second opportunity to see the production of Our Town.  In the year of the centenary of the Great War students from both John Bentley School and St Mary's, together with members of the Community, perform a piece of musical theatre that tells the story of Calne, Our Town, over the last century. Set outside the Town Hall and visiting the Harris Factory, Flanders and Weston Super Mere, this is an event that you will not want to miss

 

04 - SOLAM presents Mini-Woodstock (One)

7.30pm - Marden House - £5; £5 Friends; £3 Children

Summer of Love and Music (SOLAM) Mini Woodstock Festival has invited local bands to perform some of their favourite songs from the 1969 Woodstock festival, alongside some of their own material at two concerts during the Festival. The performers at this first concert will be Benji Clements, J.C. Leonard and the Jake Gill Quartet.

Festival Club, Marden House

The wine bar at Marden House  is open before evening events and for interval drinks. Coffee and cakes are also available on weekday evenings after the main event, but owing to licensing laws we shall be unable to serve alcoholic drinks on the Monday evening. Light lunches are served following the weekday lunchtime concerts in Marden House. Why not also come and enjoy a late Coda event in a relaxed atmosphere.
