Gordon Burns - Art Director

The Festival Art Exhibition is open to all who have paintings, drawings, collages, and forms of 2D and 3D creative works to share. The exhibition is always highly praised and every year seems to just get better. The exhibits adorn the walls of Marden House and are on display throughout the Festival, so please take time to come and enjoy the fantastic art.

In addition to the Open Art Exhibition we have a delightful display of artworks created by the primary school children of Calne and surrounding villages at the local library, and  a digital image competition and photography by Calne Woodlands Camera Club displayed in the Heritage Centre.

Local artists also participate in an Open Studios programme which is a great chance to meet local artists and experience their work in a more intimate environment.

I encourage you all to get out there and visit them in their studios. See details including times and locations in the brochure and on the website. I hope you all enjoy the creative arts represented in the Festival.
