28 - Dance spectacular!

 

Come and join in an all-day Dance Spectacular, led by teachers and students from our own local FitzGraham Academy of Dance and involving a wide ranging program of dance workshops and other sessions for everyone, from ballet, modern, tap, street dancing and jazz.  A fun packed day where events.

29 - Keep Calm and Ceilildh On

7.30pm - Town Hall, Calne: Admission £7 (£5 friends)

Do-se-do and weave your way through an exciting evening of traditional Ceilildh dancing. Absolutely no experience is needed as the professional band and caller will lead you step by step.

Delivering glorious traditional tunes of the British Isles, their music is guaranteed to bring friends and strangers together and inspire even the most unwilling feet to dance. With a family friendly caller, every member of the family will be up dancing. Innovative subtle rhythms, glorious melodies and harmonies are the band’s overall sound, that gets dancers clapping and whooping with excitement. Their versatility with different instruments adds variety to each dance and helps bring these classic tunes up to date whilst maintaining their charming tradition.

This promises to be an evening of fun and laughter - so bring your friends, let your hair down and join others as you Ceilildh on.

 

Festival Club - Marden House

The wine bar is open before evening events and for interval drinks. Coffee and cakes are also available on weekday evenings after the main event. Unfortunately, owing to licensing laws we shall be unable to serve alcoholic drinks on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Light lunches are served following the weekday lunchtime concerts.
