21 - Lunchtime Series: Violin Recital

Rowan Patterson & Mary Pilcher-Clayton

12.15pm - Marden House: Admission £3 (friends free)

A classical violin and piano recital  by local professionals Rowan Patterson and Mary Pilcher-Clayton. This varied programme will span the ages from the light, clear touch of Tartini, through the folk-inspired Romanticism of Dvorak to the energetic fun of Aaron Copland.


22 - Vocal Recital: Kristina Takashina and friends

7.30pm - Marden House: Admission £8 (£6 friends)

Come and be whisked away on a tour of Romantic art songs across Germany, through Russia, the Ukraine and ending in Japan. Meet along the way a wealth of characters in and out of love, Kossacks, young Italian girls, even children. With music from Mozart, Schubert, Wolf, Rachmaninov and many more!

A real treat for your ears with Russian Afghan soprano Maria Danishvar Brown, Japanese pianist Mieko Zuckerman, and Scottish mezzo Kristina Takashina.


23 - CODA: Singchronize

9.30pm - Marden House: Admission free

Spend the end of the evening in the company of Bel Canto, with music from the classics. This blend of four soprano voices, Kate Wilson, Emmy Butcher, Sarah Hobbs and Rosemary Ringrose, return once again to perform for your musical delight.
